Don't worry 'mon, you in Jamaica!

 

I was soooo blessed to recently fly to Montego Bay, Jamaica to photograph the wedding of a special bride and groom!

 

The location was beautiful! Just everything I have imagined!

The weather..... h.u.m.i.d.

Just inhumanely humid!

 

As you can imagine, a photographer takes a lot of photos at a wedding.

I am about 3/4 of the 1892 photos I took that week!

Something Old, Something New

By now, you've probably realized I am blogging photos that were taken a few months ago. True!

My Four Hens Photography (www.myfourhensphotography.com)

 started a Project 52 in January 2012.

Each week, Sarah Cornish would post a theme and each member would post a photograph (taken that week) on the group site. 

A Project 52 is a great way to develop composition and artistic skills.

Spring Mountain Ranch

I've been blessed to be out at Spring Mountain Ranch, in the southwest part of the Valley.

a few times in the last few weeks!

This day was the most perfect, fall day.

The colors were incredible. The breeze was light and refreshing.

Beautiful Day at the Wetlands!

I met up with the D family earlier this month at the Las Vegas / Henderson Wetlands Park.

I met them in September and we finally got around to setting up a date for a shoot. The Wetlands is one of my favorite places to do family sessions. There are so many nooks and crannies there to explore.

celebrated Baby J's 3mos birthday with

Baby J is such a sweet little boy. I have known his parents for a few years and I just adore them.



The R Kids!

I've known this family for quite a few years.... when they only had half these precious kids!

We did a mini-session right before school started.  Both girls are just as sweet as can be, and those boys.... oh boy! Just look at those smiles!

While in Colorado photographing quilts, I naturally wanted to capture the scenary as well!

I made it out to Montrose, Colorado to take some photographs for commercial use

for

Back Country Quilts.

Kristi @ Back Country Quilts makes custom quilts for clients and uses a long-arm quilting machine to quilt. Her quilts have won several ribbons in quilt shows.
